Halsey is an incredible artist. From her songwriting abilities to the way she performs, it’s all completely captivating. We’ve compiled a list of 10 of her best live or acoustic sessions for you to watch.
In no particular order, let’s get started!
‘Hurricane’ appeared on Halsey’s first EP from 2014, Room 93. The song was later re-released on her debut album Badlands in 2015.
This stripped back version of ‘Colors’ will most definitely give you goosebumps (although, what Halsey song doesn’t)! It’s ethereal and tranquil, accentuating the lyrics of the song.
Now for one of Halsey’s more recent songs! ‘100 Letters’ is taken from her sophomore album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. The energy, passion and enthusiasm here allows you to catch a glimpse of what a Halsey live show might involve.
This cover of ‘Attention’, originally by Charlie Puth, is something you don’t want to miss out on. Sit back, relax and enjoy those 2 minutes and 27 seconds of pure bliss.
We are the new Americana…
You’ve never heard ‘Eyes Closed’ quite like this before. Stripped back to just an electric guitar and Halsey’s voice, it sounds heavenly. We’re feeling all the emotions from this!
This is another one from Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Have a look, as Halsey and her team take on a live acoustic of ‘Bad At Love’.
‘Heaven in Hiding’ is such an incredible, atmospheric song. The fierceness of this track performed live sets a mood unlike any other.
‘Ghost’, like ‘Hurricane’, first appeared on the EP Room 93 and then was later re-released on Badlands in 2015. This rendition sees Halsey perform the song with just an acoustic guitar and it sounds wonderful.
Lastly, but definitely not least, is ‘Hold Me Down’ live on Triple J. Any performance of ‘Hold Me Down’ is absolutely incredible; an intense and powerful song to round the list off with!
